Community Supported Agriculture

Do you care about where, who and how your vegetables are grown?
Do you want to receive a weekly supply of fresh seasonal produce?
Do you want to support a local sustainable food system?

If you said yes to the above, then buying produce through our local Toronto CSA program is right for you!

Why join our CSA?

Farming costs are very high at the start of the season because we need to purchase seeds, compost, organic amendments, irrigation supplies, etc. When you buy a membership to our CSA program, you make a commitment to support a small urban farmer who grows your vegetables and, in return, you receive a weekly share in the harvest throughout the growing season.
Members of our CSA will also receive a regular newsletter to know what is happening at the farm, get helpful information and tips for our produce, some useful recipes and more!

How does it work?

Our CSA runs for two 10-week seasons:

Summer season (June-early August)                                  Fall season (mid-August to October)

  1. Visit our shop page, select a Weekly Share (feeds a family of 4 - 6 people) or a Bi-Weekly Share (feeds up to 3 people).

  2. Select the DELIVERY option if you want your produce dropped off at your door or building lobby.
Select the PICK-UP option to collect your weekly share directly at the farm at 160 Downsview Park Blvd. or a drop-off location* (TBD) in Toronto.

  3. If you need to skip a week, please offer the share to a friend or let us know in advance and we will donate your share to a local community fridge.

  4. If you don't like certain vegetables, there will be an opportunity to make substitutions every week.

  5. WE CANNOT OFFER FULL REFUNDS, however, you may transfer your membership to another person.

* drop off locations are made possible if there are enough CSA members in a neighbourhood.
