The Ubuntu Community Collective provides wellness supports to Black Single Mothers and their children in Toronto. We facilitate safe, supportive, and judgement-free spaces for mothers to connect, unpack their experiences, provide mutual support and thrive. We build supportive communities and share the tools and resources for Black single mothers to heal from trauma they experience in their lives.

Our programming includes a monthly creative healing retreat where mothers explore the creative and healing arts to transform their experiences.

We provide access to a daily online Kundalini Yoga practice which is valuable technology to strengthen the mind-body-soul connection.

We are now expanding our land-based healing practice into a food security initiative. We went from providing seedlings and supports for mothers to grow their own food, to launching a small-scale regenerative farm that needs your support!
